My friend Emmy made a shocking discovery recently; someone in Japan is totally ripping off my comic! Fortunately she has a friend who knows a little bit of Japanese so he helped translate it into English. It's a little rough but it gets the idea across. Still, can you believe this??

December flew the fuck by. Christmas is 4 days away?!
Maybe this month has been intensive prep for the new year to come -- that's one cute way of looking at things, but that doesn't keep me from feeling like a nonsensical, contradictory assemblage of traits and philosophies rather than a real, whole, person. I am simultaneously all-powerful and helpless. I am coming and going. I'm aching. But, I'm optimistic.
Externally, things are going fantastically, and that does make me very happy -- I've been working for a month now, and even the measly amount I've accumulated is a miraculous step up from nothing. Plus, Regal ain't a bad place to work. Especially since I haven't had to work concession again, ho ho ho.
My birthday came and went and I enjoyed it and eventually got "the" big present: a laptop! It's a very baby Dell, but I love it. My mom promised to match whatever I eventually save up for a newer better laptop, and that is awesome and I appreciate it.
Speaking of my mom, she inherited a mysterious amount of money from her parents, and is currently putting Mission: Make the Marciano House Bombass into action. This makes her very, truly happy, and so, me too. I can't wait to actually invite friends over.
I start school this semester; only just this past week finally settled all registration and whatnot. Very excited to have short-term goals to meet like schoolwork and exams, consistently. I'm all eager to prove myself and shit, woo. I can't wait to apply to transfer to New College, and on January 6 I will be taking one step closer to that.

well livejournal, I talked about you today, and I realized it's been a while since I've spoken up; you're a great guy for being there for me, and I appreciate what you do. I'm a big self conscious baby, though, and I find myself fearing what people know all too often. I hate knowing that there are people out there who see my ranting, but things like this shouldn't be about them, right? right. so let me just say this:

I'm silly for a lot of the things I've said or done, and I take responsibility for them. In general, though, there's no deceptive intent behind most, if not all of it. I try to live my life for the people I care about, because they're the ones who make it worth living, and I've been finding myself feeling uncomfortable or just plain stupid for things I do or say or even feel involving some of the more important ones all too often, and I don't think it's fair. I'd like to think the people I know would want to see that, but sometimes it doesn't seem so. I'd like to think I deserve a chance. so I hope I don't seem like more of an idiot for hoping those people give me a chance.

This trip to New York has so far been incredible and amazing, seeing Dean and Laureen and Amanda and Anna, and it's so colddd, and... yeah, totally saw a taping of The Daily Show just now, and Hugh Grant was the guest, and he was adorable and hilarious, and Jon Stewart, well he's pretty much the greatest person ever. Definitely the best experience of my entire life. By far. Of anything. I'm still high on the experience. It was surreal. Perfect.
